MM Cattle Co. owned by Mike and Christy McCravy, located in southwestern Carroll Co., Georgia produces Registered and Commercial Angus Cattle. Our goal is low birth, high growth, performance cattle with as much carcass as we can get, we also like for them to have a little 'Look'. We place a heavy emphasis on the convenience traits of soundness, maternal and fleshing ability along with the temperament that makes them more enjoyable to be around. These cattle have to get out and earn their living in our pastures while being as trouble free as possible, the old saying ‘Form follows Function’ applies here at MM.

With an almost total AI program, along with the use of ET we are able to provide the genetics to accomplish this goal. Our bulls have gained wide acceptance here in the southeast, the females that we sell have went on and worked well for their new owners, a few have made it to donor pens at other operations, and the heifer calves that we sell in our online sale each spring have been competitive nationally.

We are actively involved in industry organizations and serve in leadership positions. These things help us to better understand the needs of the industry and to apply the science to help build a better product. We try to keep our finger on the pulse of this industry, we do a lot of research, visit with other breeders and talk with leading geneticists trying to produce the best cattle possible.
